Re: Last movie you watched
I loved the original longest yard and was almost insulted when they did a remake but someone talked me into going and seeing the new one and I loved it, too. It was just so different, it made it o.k. Adam Sandler makes just about anything worth watching, for me.
Re: Last movie you watched
Go in 60 seconds....
Great movie!!! I'd give it a 8.5 outta 10
Re: Last movie you watched
im waiting to see 88 mins this weekend
Re: Last movie you watched
Reno 911! - Miami - Went in blind having never watched the show on Comedy Central. I don't know about the show, but the movie was terribly disjointed and quite a mess. A few laughs, but mostly a terrible puff piece.
Dan in Real Life - A good chick flick from Carrell. Kept waiting for him to bust out 'That's what she said!'.
Juno - Too much hipster jargon, not enough Cera. Not a bad film, but nowhere near the best of 2007.
Re: Last movie you watched
Leatherheads- Horrible...about as boring as it gets
Re: Last movie you watched
I saw Leatherheads too. It was pretty uneventful.
Re: Last movie you watched
No Country for Old Men - Had a very strong Fargo vibe. Perhaps I oversimplify, but it felt very much like Fargo South. I kept waiting for Francis McDormand to show up and lay some Minnesotan on me.
It was very well done. Javier Bardem was very menacing. Josh Brolin has come quite a long way since Goonies.
Re: Last movie you watched
The Forbidden Kingdom - Finally Jet Li and Jackie Chan team up for a kung-fu flick.. and other than those 2 having a nice show of skills with eachother, the rest was boring. Maybe I just wasn't in the mood for it on that day, maybe I'll give it another shot on DVD.. but right now.. 6/10
Leatherheads - Clooney is great when he's portraying the 1920s and such. Other than him, the rest of the film was boring, but kinda gave a history lesson on the origins of professional football. 6/10
In the Name of the King : A Dungeon Tale - well.. it got better near the end. 6/10
Before the Devil Knows Your Dead - It actually turned out pretty good. Probably the best I've watched all weekend, and getting to see Marisa Tomei naked throughout the movie was wonderful... Phillip Seymour Hoffman nails her right when the film starts.. 8./10.. pretty suspensful as well

Reno: the show isn't any better.
